Care & Use:
  • To clean, use the smooth side of the cleaning sponge or a soft brush.
  • Avoid wire brushes, steel wool, sand-based scouring powder, and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles, as these can scratch the surface.
  • If you use the dishwasher, select the glass cleaning program. To ensure you enjoy the radiant shine of the enamel for a long time, we recommend cleaning by hand.
  • Dry the cookware thoroughly. Any limescale stains can be easily removed with vinegar and water.
  • Avoid harsh detergents and chemicals when cleaning; enamelware can be easily cleaned with a simple combination of lime juice and baking soda.
  • What looks like scratches in the enamel could actually be marks from metal tools: streaks of metallic residue that have caused little or no damage to the underlying enamel. Enamel is much harder than stainless steel; you can scrub away the marks with a gentle cleaning agent.
  • The glossy surface of colored enamel can be damaged by highly acidic foods. Serving dishes containing citrus fruits can cause the surface to appear dull. Therefore, to preserve the shine of your product, we recommend avoiding using the tableware for dishes containing excessive amounts of lemon, lime, orange, etc.
  • Enameled steel is incredibly durable, but the top layer of glass can chip if handled too roughly or dropped on a hard surface (exposing the underlying steel frame). Keep in mind that it's still safe to eat from your enameled cookware even if the steel beneath the glass is exposed.
  • During the manufacturing process of enamelware, the products are hung under their edges for drying and firing, so rust may appear in these places, which can be easily removed with a damp cloth.
