____________________________
The Medina family founded the finca around 150 years ago. They focus on producing quality coffee and have worked hand in hand with irrigation technologies to continually improve quality. However, they have never abandoned traditional coffee production techniques.
To achieve "Space Coffee," Finca Medina considers various environmental factors and conducts rigorous laboratory work and quality control for each individual production batch. Finca Medina's entire value chain places great importance on preserving the ecosystem and caring for neighboring shade trees for its coffees. Finca Medina has established more than 10 hectares of protected natural areas to promote and preserve the region's biodiversity and facilitate the development of flora and fauna, which play an important role in the production of specialty coffees. Antigua, as its name suggests, is one of the oldest coffee-producing regions in Guatemala. Its experience in specialty coffee production provides the necessary characteristics to differentiate itself from other regions and offer top-quality coffees.
This special coffee is characterized by its fragrant aromas, sweetness and creamy texture and represents very well the coffee from Guatemala.
