Hario V60 Dripper “Colour Edition”
The cult hand filter,
which is used in almost all specialty coffee shops worldwide, now in Indigo Blue or Matte Black, in an attractive gift box with 40 filter papers included.
The V60 coffee dripper is a further development of the classic porcelain hand filter. Thanks to the large opening in the base of the filter, the brewing time can be controlled by adjusting the coffee grind and the pour-over technique. The rotationally symmetrical conical shape of the filter enables a consistent brewing process, allowing the flavor of the brewed coffee to be specifically influenced. The pronounced, curved ribs on the inside of the hand filter effectively keep the filter paper away from the walls. The V60 coffee dripper is suitable for users who prefer a clear flavor profile with a light body and no coffee grounds residue in the brewed coffee.
The coffee dripper is produced in Arita, a small town on the Japanese island of Kyushu, where the Korean potter Ri San Pei discovered kaolin in a quarry in 1616. Kaolin is a particularly pure clay from which Ri San Pei was able to create porcelain ceramics. To this day, Arita is celebrated as the birthplace of Japanese porcelain. Since 1979, Arita has been twinned with the German city of Meissen, where the first European porcelain was produced almost 100 years later, in 1708.
