Pamwamba coffee originates from the southern Thyolo district of Malawi, where the first plantations were established in 1979. The fields lie at altitudes between 920 and 1,100 meters in hilly valleys with steep slopes, surrounded by indigenous forest. The dolerite clay and alluvial soils provide exceptionally fertile growing conditions. Thanks to a crop rotation system, each field is replanted every seven to eight years – ensuring that Pamwamba consistently delivers young, vibrant coffee that is largely disease-free.
