Iced Matcha Latte Frappé – Ice-cold, creamy refreshment in green

Our Café Frappé has some competition—and it's green. The Iced Matcha Frappe is the perfect alternative for those who like it cool, creamy, and refreshing, but are craving something different from coffee.
Matcha is ground green tea and contains natural caffeine. The wake-up effect is gentler and longer-lasting—no caffeine crash, but plenty of antioxidants and a slightly grassy flavor we love. And with a few simple steps, it becomes a creamy, ice-cold summer drink.
What you need (for 1 glass):
-
1 tsp Matcha (please use good quality – taste and adjust to your liking)
-
Some hot water (not boiling)
-
150 ml cold milk or milk alternative
-
ice cubes
Here's how:
-
Mix the matcha
Stir the powder with the hot water in a small bowl or shaker until smooth – use a bamboo whisk or mix directly in the shaker. The goal is to avoid lumps! -
Shake it!
Fill the blender with ice cubes. Add the matcha and cold milk, and stir everything into the shaker for 1-2 minutes. -
Slurp time! Sit back and enjoy!
Cold, green, and uplifting. The Iced Matcha Frappe is perfect for hot days or when you want something different than coffee. Quick to make, truly delicious—and it looks a bit fancy, too.
