ASMUCAFE stands for Asociación de Mujeres Agropecuarias de Uribe – a dedicated community of female farmers and landowners from El Tambo, Cauca. Their shared goal: to improve the quality of life for their families through coffee cultivation and to sustainably strengthen their region through cooperation, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. Their work is characterized by responsibility, honesty, commitment, respect, solidarity, and competitiveness.

This coffee is made from the Castillo and Colombia varieties. Harvesting is selective: Castillo cherries are harvested when they are a rich purple, Colombia cherries when they are a bright red, precisely when they have reached their aromatic potential.

The processing follows a special double fermentation process:
First, the whole cherries rest for 14 hours in the collection containers. Then, in the afternoon and evening, they are pulped and fermented for another 10 hours in open fermentation tanks. After three to four careful washing processes, the coffee dries for 8–12 days, depending on conditions, in parabolic dryers or in the sun. The result is a clearly structured, balanced coffee with transparent origin.
